Vote Yes/No for new Concept Class subforum
Hi all,
Recently there was a proposal to create a new Concept Class subforum in Sardelac (thanks to Mr. G for that). We liked the idea and therefore are willing to go ahead with this, if the rest of the community support it.
If this new subforum is made, the sticky Concept Class Listing will be moved in there, and all ideas and concepts for new professions should be posted in that subforum.
So, I am opening this poll. It's a simple choice, either:
Yes - Create a new subforum in Sardelac for Concept Classes, or
No - Keep things as they are.
Additionally, if you have any comments to make about this proposal, please post them in this thread. Thank you.

I voted yes since loads of concept classes get posted here anyway.. so it makes sense to make a subforum devoted for them.

I know 50% of the people who voted No. I encourage you to do the same.
Why? Simply because next we'll have a section for suggesting skills, a section for suggesting storylines and characters, a section for pvp ideas, and a section for suggesting X.
Well I have something to tell you, and that is ideas are free, not something to be confined to 'sections' or areas, and they mesh and interweave. I can have an idea for a campaign, storyline and class concepts all in one thread. I can have a thread describing new different armors, and maybe describing armor of new possible classes.
Then again, the general public is really quite unimaginitive and unoriginal, so hell with it, let there be a seperate section for their ideas, all it will do is filter out the threads I don't already read anyway, even though a few precious ones might slip through, I guess that'd be a small price to pay... **sigh**
Honestly I don't know, I am but 1 vote, and I can clearly see I chose the losing side... Not that anyone will probably read this post anyway, if you do I appreciate you taking the time to read through before making your decision, no matter what your choice is.

You're supposed to make a different thread for each idea anyway, Kai Nui.
On topic: This will help I think in that
1)people will see less exact repeats because its easier to find earlier concepts
2)More creativity will be fostered as people gain ideas and inspiration from seeing/reading different concepts(because they are easier to find)
But thats just my two cents.

pole is closed? well I vote yes, even though it is closed, the invention of new class ideas is pretty much a whole brand of suggestion on it's own, most suggestions deal with improvedments to flaws or little difficulties in the game.
Either a subforum for Classes could be made, or a subforum for additions can be made, seperating alteration ideas which request exsisting features to be improved or voice a complaint seperately in an alteration suggestion forum.

Evidently I also missed voting on the poll, but I would have also voted yes. Concept Classes (if made well) are completely different from other suggestions but often tend to get lost in the avalanche of other suggestion-type-things (many of which are redundant) that show up in Sardelac proper. This is not to say that the other suggestions are not worthwhile, but simply that Concept Classes are sufficiently unlike most other suggestions that they should merit a separate region devoted to housing them.
